Need a Facebook page for your business?

‘Do NOT Do’ Guidelines for Timeline Photo via Facebook:

  • Price or purchase information, such as “40% off” or “Download it at our website”
  • Contact information, such as web address, email, mailing address or other information intended for your Page’s About section
  • References to user interface elements, such as Like or Share, or any other Facebook site features
  • Calls to action, such as “Get it now” or “Tell your friends”

Guidelines from Team Tritthart:

  • You only need 1 photo of yourself…Really!
  • If your logo does not fit in the 180×180 box properly, please don’t smash or stretch it out.  It will give the appearance unprofessional.
  • Highlighting homes, streets, landmarks, etc. is a GOOD thing, people are looking to realtors for information about the area they serve.
  • 2 tabs are great: 1 for your website and maybe 1 for social media or newsletter sign up, etc.  If you add Zillow, Truilia, or Realtor tabs to your site that is where you are feeding your customers to.

Hagen Powell Team, located in Mckinney,TX have just launched their Social Media plan.  We created a collage of photos from the local area and highlighted that Mckinney was just picked as the #2 Best Places to live by Money Magazine.  This gives potential clients a quick snapshot into the types of homes in the area.

Mike Brodie  is located in Texas (thinking you probably guessed that!).  We really wanted to highlight some of Texas in his Timeline banner.  Love this look!

LOVE Jeff’s page!  (even though we had to convince him the ‘longhorn’ was great!)   Jeff Hahn does an EXCELLENT job posting his homes and clients on his page.  Additionally he maintains a community page called Coppell Homes For Sale.

Team Webster is one of our most recent Facebook Business pages.  We incorporated a unified look throughout their entire Social Media. We wanted to give their clients the seamless feel when moving from site to site.  Additionally you can quickly identify Keller Williams on the Property listings tab as well as one additional tab created for Team Webster.

David Radney made a very recent move to New Jersey with his family. Prior to his move he was a successful realtor in the Dallas area.  David came up with a great concept to build his New Jersey base through his blog The Jersey Experiment.  We designed his Social Media highlighting some great areas of his new state.  Again, we keep the KW front and center in the property search tab.

Kerry Ellison’s Social Media truly focus on her homes and listings.  Her Timeline photo frequently changes to reflect homes on the market, local landmarks, and community interest.
